Meryl is a certified Special and General Education teacher.  She started her teaching journey as a NYC Teaching Fellow and taught in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Boston.  She stopped teaching when she had her daughters, Bella and Cecilia.  Although she wasn't leading a classroom, she was enjoying spending time in her daughter's classes for their "special days."  These early educational experiences helped to grow her girls' love of learning in a happy and safe environment.  She is so glad to now be working as a 2's teacher at St. Mark's.  It is Meryl's goal to help cultivate her student's love of school and learning.
