Our Extended Day Program offers additional classroom time to extend the school day until 2:00 PM for 3, 4 and 5-year-old children.  Enrichment classes include:

Science Explorers

3 & 4-Year-Olds

Did you ever want to be a volcanologist and study and make a volcano? Then you might want to join the Science Explorers class!  We also make bouncy balls, gak, butter, fake snot, crystals, rock candy, rubber eggs, a foamy mountain and magic milk.  These are just a few of the experiments we will explore.  Come make scientific magic with us!

Mini-Picasso

3 & 4-Year-Olds

Does your child like to draw and color? Would you like to introduce them to a world of art?  All you need is a smock and a little imagination for Mini-Picassos. Using famous artists or literature as inspiration, students will create their own masterpieces.  This class will culminate with an art show.

Cheerleading with Sportset Kids

3 & 4-Year-Olds

This intro to cheerleading class will have your little ones jumping for joy!  The children will learn basic motions, dance, stunts, chants, and jumps in this upbeat and energetic class!

Multi-Sport with Sportset Kids

3 & 4-Year-Olds

Get moving with this super fun class that combines movement, games, mindfulness and sports!  Yoga, relays and obstacle courses are just a few things included in this class to improve balance, gross motor skills, and build sportsmanship.  This class will be held at SMNS but will be taught by Sportset staff.  One of our assistants will be there at all times to assist with any of the children's needs.

Lunch Bunch

3-Year-Olds

​Does your 3-year-old ever ask to have lunch packed like his big brother or sister? Does she love school so much that she would like to stay a little longer? If so, come and join the 3's lunch bunch crew! Here, your child will have a light lunch as well as play board games, freeze dance, and other fun activities while enjoying the company of his or her peers! This is an environment for conversation, friendship, and fun!

Kindergarten Readiness

4-Year-Olds

This enrichment program will boost readiness skills for entering Kindergarten using fun games and innovative techniques.  It will help to strengthen letter and number recognition, letter sounds, rhyming, story sequencing, pre-literacy skills and fine motor and listening skills all through play and games!  Your child will be having FUN and LEARNING at the same time.
