Maria is married with four children who all attended St. Mark's Nursery School and holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts. Maria learned so much from being a part of the St. Mark's community, so when her children graduated, she became a volunteer.  Helping the children transition into the school routine, she eventually took a permanent position as an assistant teacher.  Maria treats each child individually, helping them discover their best qualities, with the goal of building their self-esteem and watching them grow.  She is kind and sweet-natured, and you will often find her on the floor with a child in her lap.  In her free time, Maria loves spending time with her family, hiking, doing Pilates, going to the beach and paddle boarding.
