Amy has taught at St. Mark's Nursery since 2021.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Siena College and holds a Master's in Elementary Education from Queens College.  She is a NYS certified Elementary Education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages teacher who taught in New York City Public school for many years before staying at home with her children.  In the classroom, Amy really embraces St. Mark's philosophy of learning through play.  She is a mom of two and lives with her family in Long Beach.  Her interests include cooking, skiing, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
